At Global Football Projects, we don’t just develop athletes—we nurture character, confidence, and discipline through world-class football coaching. Our journey began with a mission to build the most complete football development system in Africa, and today, we proudly help thousands of children take their next step in life—on and off the pitch.
About Us
Global football projects was born out of the obvious need for our organisation to provide a full holistic footballing service that caters to every need of a young players footballing journey. The success of our premium brand Global Soccer Schools International, formerly known as Supersport United Soccer Schools, has prompted us to think more expansively in our quest of developing young football players.
Our globally proven coaching program will stand at the heart of what Global Football Projects aims to achieve. We epitomize high performance by making use of a strong ethos, proven training methods, a strong network, skilled individuals, excellent support structures and creating memorable footballing experiences for kids of all ages, here in South Africa, Africa and around the world
What we do
More Time. More Touches. More Growth.
The training ethos at our Soccer Schools very much mirrors that of Brazil in that young players are encouraged to spend as much time as possible with the ball developing their skills. Young players spend the majority of their time working individually with the ball with a graded progression as they get older through paired work, group work and onto team play, all maintaining the core Soccer Schools principle of working with the ball. Outdoor/Indoor training sessions at our Soccer Schools are very fast and normally incorporate the use of music to maintain an exciting, progressive and enjoyable atmosphere.
We encourage our players to spend as much time as possible working with the ball, improving technical skills, far more than is the case with most training at Football clubs. Our young players often train with us for 10-20 hours per week as well as the work they do on their own. This may sound like a lot of time, but players are not in any danger of over-training or injury as the work is fun and focuses on the player and the ball. Three very important ingredients that contribute to our success are a high level of seriousness, a high on task time and a high level of discipline.
